About the Role

As a Sales Engineer specializing in API integration, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the technical aspects of their projects. Your main objective is to efficiently plan, coordinate, and implement technical solutions that meet client needs. This includes engaging in pre-sales activities to understand client requirements and demonstrate how your product(s) can address their needs, conducting pre-installation assessments to ensure the client's environment is ready for product installation, analyzing client systems to identify integration points and potential challenges, implementing API solutions within the customer's environment, and evaluating post-installation implementation to ensure optimal performance. Your role will involve close collaboration with clients to ensure seamless integration and successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, customizing, and implementing appropriate applications and solutions for external clients

• Analyzing client needs and participating in the design of business process requirements

• Translating business requirements into off-the-shelf and customization specifications

• Testing, documenting, and training client personnel on functional business applications software

• Improving products or services by utilizing best practices and business knowledge

• Contributing to overall process improvements

Requirements

• Have in-depth knowledge and experience in functional business areas and specific applications

• Be able to effectively solve complex problems on one's own

• Have conceptual and practical expertise in own area

• Possess knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others

• Be aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market

• Be able to occasionally lead the work of small project teams and provide informal guidance to junior staff

• Be able to explain difficult or sensitive information

Salary:

The base salary range for this position is $80k with a 10% annual bonus
