Appraisal Coordinator

Accurate Group is seeking an Appraisal Coordinator to join our growing team. The Appraisal Coordinator is responsible for daily workflow of traditional and non-traditional appraisal orders received from our customers. The Appraisal Coordinator prioritizes and addresses each request, logs applicable information into our database, gathers documents and organizes information to facilitate the processing of these orders. This position requires high attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service and organizational skills. Professional communication skills are imperative. The Appraisal Coordinator is equally responsible for handling all appraisal service issues and escalated service requests from our clients, appraisal vendors and internal stakeholders. This individual plays a key role in the organization’s growth.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when interfacing with clients, vendors and co-workers. Must possess exemplary customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service, and organizational skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional oral and written communications are essential.
  • Ability to work independently on confidential materials is essential, while using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior mortgage lending, processing or appraisal management experience a plus.
  • Experience with using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to type 35-40 wpm with accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment as well as working as a self-motivated individual performer.

Successful candidates will have the following proven skills:

  • Associate degree or relevant experienced preferred
  • Ideal candidate has a strong customer service background with strong communication skills
  • Problems solving skills, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment is a must.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Experience in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Job Type: Full-time/Remote

Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 an hour

Schedule: Monday -Friday (8-hour shifts)
