Your Role as a Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse at Aveanna, you will provide and document skilled nursing care tailored to each patient’s needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Continuously observing and assessing patient conditions, reporting changes as needed.
• Documenting all activities and nursing actions in a timely manner.
• Developing, implementing, and updating nursing care plans.
• Educating patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.
• Maintaining compliance with Aveanna policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

We’re looking for dedicated professionals who meet the following criteria:

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (Aveanna can assist with this post-hire).
• TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

As a Registered Nurse, you will need to:

• Communicate effectively in English.
• Travel as needed and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Function in various environments, potentially exposed to allergens and infectious diseases.
