Job Description

Role Summary:

The Equipment Sales Technician is responsible for driving new business development and customer acquisition, primarily in the Southern California region, Remote options available . This position supports sales growth in commercial and industrial markets through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and technical product knowledge. The role offers a hybrid local/remote structure with a strong commission incentive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and convert new customers in commercial/industrial markets
  • Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities
  • Represent IAS at industry trade shows and events
  • Use Salesforce CRM to track and manage pipeline
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to achieve goals
  • Travel locally as needed to visit clients and job sites
Qualifications:
  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably with technical or industrial products
  • Strong problem-solving and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to independently generate and qualify leads
  • Familiarity with water treatment equipment (filtration, UV, pumps, automation) is a plus
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
